Static and Dynamic Classification of Engineering Parts for Capp Systems
نویسندگان
چکیده
Classification of engineering parts is very important activity especially in process planning. It is one of important methods utilised in group technology approach for computer aided process planning. The paper deals with methods of classification. Special attention is given to dynamic methods of part grouping as a new method of classification. The dynamic method especially extended possibility of engineering part classifying for process planning of non-cutting processes (forging, casting, etc.)

Abstract: A framework for dynamic classification with computer aided process planning (CAPP) systems is presented. The dynamic classification is used to provide flexibility facility status information while the CAPP system is used to modify the retrieved process plans. The paper deals with aspect of classification systems in CAPP systems based on Group Technology (GT). The dynamic classificatio...
متن کاملFriction Compensation for Dynamic and Static Models Using Nonlinear Adaptive Optimal Technique
Friction is a nonlinear phenomenon which has destructive effects on performance of control systems. To obviate these effects, friction compensation is an effectual solution. In this paper, an adaptive technique is proposed in order to eliminate limit cycles as one of the undesired behaviors due to presence of friction in control systems which happen frequently. The proposed approach works for n...
متن کاملSolving a Stochastic Cellular Manufacturing Model by Using Genetic Algorithms
This paper presents a mathematical model for designing cellular manufacturing systems (CMSs) solved by genetic algorithms. This model assumes a dynamic production, a stochastic demand, routing flexibility, and machine flexibility. CMS is an application of group technology (GT) for clustering parts and machines by means of their operational and / or apparent form similarity in different aspects ...
